Earley and Woodley Labour Party

We are the constituency of the Labour party which works to promote socialist values in Earley, Woodley, Shinfield, Sonning, Spencers Wood & Whitley.

We are proud to have Yuan Yang as our serving MP who was elected as the first MP for the constituency which came into being in 2024 following a set of boundary changes.

Labour Councillors sit on both Reading Borough Council and the Wokingham Borough Council and we also have a number of Parish Councillors on the Town Councils of Woodley and Earley and on the Parish Council in Shinfield. Reading does not have parish councils.

The Constituency Labour Party (CLP) is organised around four branches:
